Apply sunscreen often. If you do nothing else for your skin this summer, wear sunscreen.
The reality is that hot weather, humidity, and extra sun exposure can result in sweat-induced clogged pores, sunburns, and dark spots if you aren't preventing these common summer skin concerns in your skincare routine.
Sun protection is essential in any skincare regimen, especially during long, hot summer days when you are mostly outdoors exposed to the sun.
You should apply SPF daily to all exposed areas: the face, neck, decollete, ears and hands. Our skin care therapist recommends you visit our sun care section online.
For adequate protection: apply a stripe of sunscreen on your index and middle fingers for the face and neck; a shot glass amount is suitable for the exposed areas of the body. Remember to apply sunscreen 20-30 minutes before going out.
Avoid being in direct sunlight from 10 am to 4 pm. Enjoying a shaded area with a cool beverage is always recommended.
You are now ready to apply a light moisture cream which is not heavy on the skin and absorbs quite quickly, leaving a glowing, radiant look.
