31 Days Left in the Year!
I'm not sure about you, but I've always felt like the new year is a time for a fresh start. For me, that means cleaning out my closet and getting rid of any clothes that are too small or worn out. It also means taking steps to make my skin look healthier than ever. After all, your skin is the first thing people see when they meet you — so why not give it some extra love this New Year? Here's what I do:

Start with a clean canvas.
You'll need to start with a clean canvas, so a gentle cleanser is key. Make sure you rinse off all the cleanser and then use a toner to remove any extra residue on your face. You don't want to go overboard with toning either—just make sure you've removed any excess oils or dirt that may be lingering around your pores.
Now that your skin's base layer is ready to absorb product, it's time for moisturizing! Choose something from among my favorite brands:
Anti-Pollution Concentrate Organic 40ml
Premium Active Eternal Eye & Face Cream
Hydropeptide LipLock Hydrator - Peptide Infused Lip Mask
Phyt's Extreme Nutrition Serum 15 ml
K-Beauty Post Rays UV Protect Sun Block SPF50+ PA+++
K-Beauty Blemish Balm SPF36 PA++
It's easy to forget that hair is skin, too. If you want your hair looking its best for the new year (and beyond), it needs hydration just as much as your face does.
Try this:
Use a deep conditioning mask once a week. It'll help with any damage from coloring or heat styling, which helps keep your strands healthy and strong. For extra moisture, consider using an intensive hydrating shampoo, soft and balancing without silicones, and conditioner. Try the Invigorating Oil, Scalp Hair Treatment. It comes with 6 vials, which means 6 treatments! I was a bit sceptical at first to be honest but I had to try it because I noticed quite a bit of hair loss over the course of the pandemic, and I wasn't the only mentioning it. I don't think my scalp ever felt quite so good and I've notice the hair is looking healthier.

Scrub. Exfoliate. Gommage
Scrubbing your skin is the best way to remove dead skin cells, which can get trapped in pores and cause acne. It's also important because it helps prepare your face for moisturizing. The best time to scrub is right after you wash your face in the evening, so that all of the oil and all environmental dirt has been washed away. You must never scrub the skin causing irritation.
Sensitive - once a week, 1-2 minutes. Medium to thick skin - twice a week, 3 min on the medium and 3-5 for thick.

Eat healthy fatty foods.
The first step to getting your best skin this year is to eat healthy fats.
What are healthy fats? Healthy fats are the ones that aren't going to clog your pores or cause you to gain weight. Healthy fats include things like avocados, olive oil, and fish oil.
Why should we be eating healthy fats? Because they can help with many different things—they're good for your brain, heart and overall health! They also provide energy when you need it most and help with weight loss if that's something you're trying to do (which I'm sure is why all of us are here).
Skin Health

What is Skin Climate?
In the same way, a region's climate describes the weather conditions, your skin also has an internal climate that describes underlying conditions that govern skin repair, breakdown, and thus, the aging process. Internal conditions such as age-related chronic inflammation and free radical stress promote accelerated aging and poor skin health. While topicals are an essential component of skincare, the path to skin health and longevity is achieved by addressing Skin Climate from the inside out.
Optimizing your Skin Climate helps to restore more youthful properties of the skin. Along with a balanced diet, exercise and sleep, Bend Beauty products deliver clinically proven ingredients that go deep to address underlying factors of age-related changes to your Skin Climate, unlocking the potential for skin rejuvenation, increased firmness and elasticity, a natural glow and reducing skin sensitivity to UV-induced sunburn and other environmental stressors that accelerate skin aging.
My optimal powerhouse duo is:
Bend Marine Collagen + Co-Factors Powder, the ultimate building block for healthy skin, hair and nails.
Bend Beauty Renew + Protect Anti-Aging Formula Liquid 200ml, the critical first step to skin rejuvenation.
Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize
(and don't forget the sunscreen!)

You've got a lot of skin care & exfoliating to do this month. Because of the holidays and all that sugar, it's important to get your skin in tip-top shape by the time January rolls around. So New Year, new you!
The first step is cleansing: Make sure you're using a gentle cleanser that won't leave your face feeling tight or dry.
Next comes toning—this step consists of applying an astringent. We love the Orange Leaf Toner for Combination/Dry or the Eucalyptus Leaf Toner for Combination/Oily/Acne.
Finally, moisturize! You may not think it's necessary if your skin is oily or combination but trust us: dry skin looks terrible and flakes off again when you apply makeup anyway.
Our recommendation? Start with the 24H Hydrating Fluid moisture and book a virtual consultation with our skin therapist to customize a plan for you.
We also recommend sunscreen every day—don't miss out on those UV rays just because they're "outdoors"! It's important not only for preventing sunburn but also for preventing wrinkles later on down the line!

Rinse off the old and make room for the new!
SKINIMALIST? YOU WANT THE CORE ESSENTIALS AND NOTHING MORE? WE GOT YOU!
